From developing the Weill Cornell Medicine clinic focused on the treatment of anxiety in children, adolescents, and young adults to serving as the Principle Investigator for the Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for Tics (CBIT) study, Dr. Specht’s expertise and experience are unmatched. Having personally evaluated and treated over 1,500 patients, Dr. Specht is a sought after speaker at notable medical institutions including Harvard University/Mass General and Yale University, as well as leading professional organizations such as the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (AACAP) and Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies (ABCT).
Credentials and training aside, it is Dr. Specht’s empathetic, gentle and kind approach coupled with his innate ability to personally connect with his patients and their families that pave the way for his highly collaborative, thorough and effective treatment plans. Dr. Specht started his private practice in Greenwich, CT in 2020. He is
